Your data, plainly

Last updated 14 October 2026

Roz works without an account; signing in is optional. This page explains what is stored and who else is involved.

What Roz stores

Your boards, streak, stats, settings and Archive Pass live in your browser's local storage on this device. Finished games and anonymous usage events (such as opening the app, starting or finishing a puzzle, sharing, or watching an ad) are also sent to our server under a random id that is not linked to you unless you sign in. Without signing in, clearing site data or uninstalling removes your progress from this device.

Signing in (optional)

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, profile photo link and Google account id through Supabase, our database provider. We use them only to save your progress and Archive Pass to your account so they survive a new phone or cleared data, and to show who is signed in. You can sign out at any time from Settings.

Ads

Watching an ad is always your choice: for a hint, an extra check, or to open an older archive day. Ads are served by Google, which may use cookies or device identifiers to show and measure them. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent first. Google's policies explain how: policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Payments

The Archive Pass is paid through Razorpay. Your card or UPI details go to Razorpay, never to us. We keep only the payment reference needed to create your restore code and to handle refunds.

Sharing

Your shared result shows only the puzzle number and coloured squares. It never names the cards or the answer.

Who processes your data

We do not sell your data to anyone.

How long we keep it

Raw usage events are deleted after about 3 months; only daily totals are kept. Game results and account details are kept while you use Roz. Payment records are kept as long as Indian tax law requires.

Deleting your data

To delete everything on this device, use Reset in Settings or clear this site's data in your browser. To delete your account and the results saved on our server, email hello@rozpuzzle.com from the email you signed in with. We do it within 30 days.

Children

Roz is meant for players aged 13 and over. If you are under 18, please ask a parent before signing in or buying the Archive Pass.
